The low temperature test specified in this part of GB/T 2423 is applicable to non-heat dissipation and heat dissipation test samples. Test Ab and Test Ad are not substantially different from earlier versions. The purpose of adding test Ae is mainly to test those equipment which are required to be energized during the whole test process including the cooling period. The purpose of this low temperature test is limited to determine the ability of components, equipment or other products to be used, transported or stored in a low temperature environment. This low-temperature test cannot be used to evaluate the ability of the test sample to withstand temperature changes and the ability to operate in a temperature-changing environment. In this case, GB/T 2423.22 should be used. This low temperature test method is subdivided into the following categories: - Low temperature test of non-radiation test samples: ·Test Ab, temperature gradient. ——Low temperature test for heat dissipation test samples: ·Test Ad, temperature gradient; ·Test Ae, temperature gradient, test sample is energized throughout the test process. The test methods given in this section are generally used for test samples that can achieve temperature stabilization during the test.
