Scope

This document specifies the dimensions and other requirements of three commonly used carbide cutting tools for milling machines. These three kinds of carbide cutting tools are the most commonly used cutting tools for milling machines in dental laboratories. This document is applicable to the three types of carbide cutting tools for milling machines mainly used in laboratories. This document does not apply to other characteristic cutting tools used in laboratories (for example: spiral blades, cross blades). Cutting tools for CAD/CAM systems are not within the scope of this document.
