- This document specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and order (or contract) of aluminum alloy sacrificial anodes for electric water heaters (hereinafter referred to as "aluminum anodes") . This document applies to aluminum anodes produced by extrusion and casting methods for use in non-potable storage electric water heaters. Aluminum anodes produced by extrusion and casting methods for hot water boilers and solar water heaters are used for reference.
