This document describes flame atomic absorption spectrometry, volumetric and inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry for the determination of magnesium oxide in phosphate rocks and concentrates. This document is applicable to the determination of magnesium oxide content in phosphate rock and phosphate concentrate products. The measurement range of each method in this document is shown in Table 1.
