Scope

This document stipulates the recording content, recording requirements, storage requirements, format requirements and printing production requirements of engine logbooks and clock record books. This document applies to all Chinese-nationalized sea-going ships using internal combustion engines or electric motors as main engines for international voyages and domestic coastal voyages with a gross tonnage of 500 or a total engine power of 750kW or more. Other Chinese ships may follow suit.
