This document describes a method for measuring the heat of reaction generated during the crosslinking of epoxy resins using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and calculating the degree of crosslinking based on this result. This document applies to epoxy resin systems with moderate or slow crosslinking reactions. This document is not applicable to systems with fast crosslinking reactions at room temperature.
