This document describes a method for the determination of iodine and bromine in soil and water sediments by semi-melting-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. This document is applicable to the determination of iodine and bromine content in soil and water system sediments with the following determination range and method detection limit: --- method detection limit, iodine is 0.11μg/g, bromine is 0.2μg/g;
