Scope

This chapter in GB 4706.1-2005 is replaced by the following content: This part of GB 4706 specifies the safety of electric vacuum cleaners and water suction cleaning appliances suitable for household and similar purposes, including vacuum cleaners used for animal cleaning, single-phase Appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, also suitable for central vacuum cleaners and self-cleaning appliances with rechargeable batteries. This standard also applies to powered cleaning heads and special vacuum cleaners with current-carrying tubes. It is also applicable to appliances that are not used for general household use, but may be dangerous to the public, such as appliances used by non-professionals for general household purposes in shops or other business establishments. As far as the actual situation is concerned, the general dangers of the various appliances covered by this standard are likely to be encountered by all people in the house and the surrounding environment of the house. Generally speaking, this section does not deal with: - personnel (including young children): lack of physical strength, perception and intelligence; or lack of experience and common sense; to avoid the dangers that may arise from the use of appliances by such personnel without supervision or guidance; - young children play The condition of the appliance.
