GB 14536.13-2008 Automatic electrical controls for household and similar use.Particular requirements for electrically operated door locks (English Version)
This chapter in GB 14536.1 is applicable except for the following contents. 1.1 Replacement: In general, this standard applies to automatic door locks used to prevent door opening in household appliances and similar equipment. 1.1.1 Replaces: This part applies to the inherent safety of electric automatic controls, to operating values, operating times and operating procedures related to the safety of the equipment, and to door locks used in or with household or similar equipment test. This section does not apply to electric door locks intended for industrial use. This section also applies to a single door lock as part of a control system or a door lock mechanically combined with a multi-function controller with a non-electrical output. Electric door locks that are not used for general household use but are used in public places, such as for non-professionals in shops, light industry and farms, are also included in the scope of this part. See also Appendix J. 1.1.2 Replacement: This section applies to door locks that operate electrical and control circuits through bimetals, electromagnetic coils, memory metals, pressure elements, temperature-sensitive expansion elements or electronic components. 1.1.3 Not applicable. 1.1.4 Replacement: This section also applies to manual controls that are electrically and/or mechanically combined with electric door locks. 1.3 Replacement: This standard does not specify the response value of the automatic action depending on the method of installation of the door lock in the equipment. If these values have a role in protecting the user or the surrounding environment, the response values specified by the corresponding equipment standard or determined by the manufacturer are applicable in this section. 1.4 Replacement: This section also applies to door locks equipped with electronic devices. The requirements for this type of door lock are given in Appendix H. This section applies to door locks with NTC (negative temperature coefficient) or PTC (positive temperature coefficient) thermistors. Their additional requirements are included in Appendix J.
