- This standard specifies the Class II requirements for design, manufacture, factory inspection and testing, and delivery of centrifugal pumps. It also covers design features related to the installation, maintenance and safety of these pumps (including base, couplings and auxiliary piping, excluding drivers). This standard is applicable to centrifugal pumps with rear door structure used in the chemical and petrochemical industries (typically, pumps that meet the requirements of GB5662). This standard or part of the standard also applies to the design of pumps with non-rear opening structure.
